Moving large databases around takes time, and there are inevitably painful issues to resolve around disk space, database configuration, permissions and more. ![]() It can be a time-consuming and often frustrating task to provision all development, test and delivery environments, such as UAT, pre-production and so on, with the latest copy of the production database, or with "production-like" data.
